Services
Service and Maintenace
When tendering for new service contracts our first consideration is can we deliver a service which meets the high standards we demand of ourselves as a company? The highest priority for us is our response time to emergency calls. Nobody appreciates more the importance of medical gas systems in the hospital and this is why we always consider the Hospital location first and never take on a PPM contract where we can’t respond to an emergency situation within 2 hours.
All Medi-Teknique Service Engineers are fully trained and qualified to the level of “Authorised Person”. When recruiting new service staff we always insist on an engineering trade background and all Engineers undergo extensive training before being released on heir own.
Systems and Inovation
Our systems have been developed to promote manufacturers recommendations and are designed to comply with the requirements of the HTM 02-01 and statutory regulations.
Our service management software has been designed to automatically highlight when certain generic service functions are required. Information such as relief valve and regulator dates, compressor/pump service dates, filter dates and desiccant age is recorded by our engineers and preset reminders automatically highlight when remedial work is next due.
Whilst this is a great tool we are also conscious site conditions can have an impact on service frequencies and all engineers are encouraged to use their own descretion when making recommendations for service works.
Working within the framework of the HTM and manufacturers recommendations we can tailor contracts to include service spares and consumables. These have proved particularily popular with our FM customers where budget planning is critical.
Design and Installation
When starting a new project our team of engineers work closely with our customers to find the solution that gives the best performance and compliance. This service includes detailed drawings, planning, pipeline calculations and design flow rates.
Design is carried out in strict accordance with the most current regulations and codes of practice specific to Medical, Industrial and Laboratory gas systems.
In partnership with our Customer’s we find the most cost-effective and commercially viable solutions for the project, using where possible, standard, readily available equipment.
